Greensboro, North Carolina Dec 23, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - Greensboro attorney Kelvin Dwayne Smith has become the newly elected President of the Guilford County Association of Black Lawyers.
Mr. Smith, a native of Wilson, NC, is a graduate of the North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship in 1999.
Mr. Smith holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Charlotte School of Law where he served as the Student Bar Association (SBA) President. He is currently the President of the Law Office of Kelvin D. Smith, PLLC, where he focuses his practice in civil litigation and criminal defense.
Kelvin Smith is currently a candidate for Guilford County District Court Judge.

Guilford County Association of Black Lawyers (GCABL) consists of licensed attorneys practicing or living in Guilford County, North Carolina.
The purpose of the GCABL is to: (a) educate its membership regarding, issues in the legal profession; (b) promote fellowship and cooperation among its members; (c) provide a forum for the discussion and advancement of ideas through which the organization may promote the general welfare of the black community; (d) uphold the honor and integrity of the legal profession; and (e) promote and defend the general welfare of the black lawyers in Guilford County, North Carolina.
