Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala May 3, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - Kester Rajan is an Indian pop music Singer and songwriter from Trivandrum, Kerala. Released his first single 'Just as I am' which was his first step towards his music career. Later he went on to release three more singles Angel Armies in 2020, Wonderful Merciful Saviour in 2020 and You Raise Me Up in 2021.
Early life
Kester was born in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala in 2002 to Mary and Rajan Andrews. He has two younger brothers, Godwin and Gladson. Kester was given his first guitar by his father and learned how to play guitar by playing along with his music teacher.
He finished his high school studies at Seventh Day Adventist High School Thirumala and later he joined St.Mary's Higher Secondary School and finished his higher secondary education there.
Career
Kester wrote his first worship song at the age of seventeen. His parents recognized his musical talent and enrolled him in guitar class, they supported him to grow his talent and encouraged him. He started to learn guitar and started making music with his best friend Kenric Adam(Adam Audo).
During high school he started performing in churches, his friends and brothers also joined with him, and they formed a Christian Musical band group in 2018 named Divine Lights. In 2018 Kester released his first single 'Just as I am' which was his favourite hymnal so he made a cover of that song, That was his first step towards his music career, later on, he went on to release many other songs.
