Miami, Florida Sep 3, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - Kāāntāā, a new service that gives every restaurant guest a menu in their own language, is now live at kaantaa.com. One upload- a PDF, a photo, or pasted text- becomes a dedicated menu for each language, plus a QR code guests can scan at the table.
The problem it targets shows up in any restaurant that serves guests from outside the local language. A guest who can't read the menu guesses, asks a server to translate item by item, or walks. Kāāntāā gives that guest a dedicated menu in their own language, generated straight from the restaurant's existing menu file, with no manual translation and no redesign. Each language version can also show up in search results in that language, not just get scanned from a table.
"Traveling full time, I ran into the same wall everywhere: a menu I couldn't read. Pull up a translator app. Hunt through an outdated PDF on the restaurant's website. Squint at a blurry photo on Google Maps. More than once I just gave up and picked somewhere else to eat," said Mika Lepisto, founder of Kāāntāā. "That's a sale the restaurant never even knew it lost. I built Kāāntāā to fix that."
Kāāntāā is available now at kaantaa.com.
