Chennai, Tamil Nadu Jul 4, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Shri Krishnaswamy College for Women, Chennai inaugurated the RAISE Centre of Excellence (CoE) completely powered by MIT Square, London to provide global industry-institution programs to empower women students, researchers, and academicians. RAISE is an innovative platform that stands for Research, Arts/Applications, Innovation, Science & Technology, and Entrepreneurship. Dr. Mithileysh Sathiyanarayanan, Founder and CEO of MIT Square London was invited as the chief guest to virtually inaugurate the SKC RAISE CoE. He created awareness about the CoE and briefed the outcomes expected in the form of real-world projects, internships, placements, exchange programs, and other collaborative initiatives which will transform women into powerful leaders.
Ms. Bhuvaneshwari Loganathan, Co-founder of MIT Square India expressed her views about the importance of women being independent and powering other women around. The inauguration was led by Dr. Anita Rajendran (Principal), Dr. Aananthi K (Dean Research), Dr. R. Nirmala Mohan (Dean Academics), Dr. Kirti Chetty (Head MAHRM), Dr. K Anusha (CoE Incharge), Ms. Smiley (CoE Member), Ms. Nafeeza (CoE Member), and Ms. Vasumathy (CoE Member).
The nominated women student campus leaders are Ms. Yagavi, Ms. Sasikala, Ms. Harini, and Ms.Salma, who will be playing an integral role in running several activities with the theme “Of the Women, By the Women, and For the Women”.
