Dr. Nguyen was born in Vietnam and raised in Louisville, Kentucky in a large family. She did her undergraduate studies and medical training on the East Coast and subsequently moved to Washington State due to her husband’s military career.
Shortly after starting her clinical practice, she received her Master of Healthcare Administration degree from the University of Washington in 2016. That experience enhanced her knowledge of health systems and made her a more well-rounded clinician. This helps her to further advocate and care for patients.
As a testament to her continued education, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice family medicine and its sub-specialties.
