Lawrence C. Marsh to Present at the Midwest Economics Association Conference 2025

Kansas City, Missouri Feb 25, 2025 (Issuewire.com)  - Renowned economist and Professor Emeritus Lawrence C. Marsh will once again be attending the Midwest Economics Association (MEA) Conference, taking place from March 21-23, 2025, at the Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza, located at 4445 Main St, Kansas City, Missouri.

Professor Marsh's abstract, "New Monetary Policy Tools Needed to Stop the Reverse Money Flow Suppressing Productivity and Economic Growth," has been accepted for presentation at the MEA’s 89th Annual Meeting. His research focuses on addressing key challenges in modern monetary policy and proposing innovative solutions to enhance economic growth and productivity.

A longstanding participant in MEA conferences, Professor Marsh has presented numerous papers over the years, contributing valuable insights to the field of economics. Lawrence C. Marsh is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Economics at the University of Notre Dame, having dedicated 30 years to teaching both undergraduate and graduate economics, as well as serving as director of the Ph.D. program for 13 years. His mentorship has helped shape numerous economic scholars who now hold key positions in central banks and government institutions worldwide. He has also served as a visiting professor at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and Avila University.

Beyond his academic contributions, Professor Marsh co-founded the Midwest Econometrics Group (MEG) in 1990, an organization that has held annual meetings for over three decades, bringing together global researchers to discuss econometric advancements.
