Avon, Bristol Apr 26, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - Sunday Morning Cinema is proud to release the unofficial Nicolas Cage Losing his Shit Collection.
Designed by the team at Sunday Morning Cinema, the boxset features hundreds of images of Nic’s face in its original artwork. The set comes complete with pastiche parody artwork for four of Nic’s most controversial roles. 1988’s Vampire’s Kiss, where Mr. Cage plays a New York businessman who’s convinced he’s been bitten by a real-life vampire and ends up with a stake through his heart; 1993’s DeadFall, where Cage’s con-man character struts around in a tuxedo and sunglasses (even at night) only to have his wig ripped off before being boiled alive in a deep fat fryer; 2006’s The Wicker Man, where our hero Nic is confused, confused some more, dresses as a bear and then get burned alive; and 2009’s Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans, a topical piece where police detective Nicolas breaks all of the laws, gets off Scot-free and even gets promoted twice!
“I was always annoyed that licensing laws stopped my favourite films from ever being made into single collections. So forced with nothing better to do because of a country-wide lock-down I decided to make my own. Because the collection is simply original artwork covered by parody and pastiche copyright law, and the films themselves aren’t included, we’re able to share the Nicolas Cage Losing His Shit Collection with other Cage Rage fans throughout the UK and the world.” Adam Fiori, founder of Sunday Morning Cinema and creator of the Nicolas Cage Losing hit Shit Collection.
The Nicolas Cage Losing His Shit Collection is currently on sale at SundayMorningCinema.co.uk for £49.99 and ships worldwide. The set contains 1 outer display box, 4 slim cases with original artwork, and 1 number card certifying its place in the limited run of 1000 copies.
SundayMorningCinema started as a lock-down pastime recommending quality films on Instagram. In a year it’s grown to have 400 follows, has supported several months celebrating minorities in film, and now wishes to spread connections in the physical world through the one and only Nic Cage.
