Raleigh, North Carolina Feb 11, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - Ryan M. Razon, a talented sophomore from Morrisville, NC who attends Enloe Magnet High School in Raleigh, NC was the only participant from the Triangle area selected to be part of 100 “Disney Dreamers” from the tens of thousands of applicants nationwide.
Ryan stated, “I have a passion for math, computer programming, and dance. For the past seven years, I have studied classical ballet, contemporary, jazz, and hip-hop and performed in productions for the community with my pre-professional ballet company. I care deeply about diversity and inclusion and hold leadership positions in both the National Society of Black Engineers and NAACP junior chapters.”
According to Ryan, he has been writing code and programming since elementary school, and enjoys using code to solve difficult problems whether in his college-level math classes or real-world problems in the community. “My generation will need to address serious threats like political extremism, rising inequality, and social unrest. I aspire to use my talent and my art to create the change that I want to see in the world. “
According to Ryan, “I plan to attend college after graduating from high school. My current passions align with math and technical interests, including areas like finance, computer programming, and game design. I would love to attend colleges like UNC Chapel Hill, NC State, Duke, MIT, Harvard, and Stanford.”
The 100 participants known as “Disney Dreamers” will set foot at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL from March 23-26 in an all-expense-paid trip for one Dreamer and an adult parent or guardian.
