Los Angeles, California Aug 11, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - LUXE Travel Management recently debuted a remarkable, airline-inspired office system, designed and fabricated by Air Hollywood. The Irvine, California based luxury travel agency commissioned Air Hollywood to retrofit two retired Boeing 737s into a visually exciting and surprisingly functional office interior.
Air Hollywood, the world’s largest aviation-themed creative design studio, built the new office system with two retired Delta Airlines 737 fuselages, which ultimately yielded twenty-four individual workstations, a conference room, and an employee breakroom.
LUXE CEO Craig Carter says, “As a luxury travel agency, we set out to create an interior space that would inspire our VIP clients as well as our staff.” The newly-appointed airline-themed space takes the form of a functional office, airline museum, and modern architectural interior.
According to Air Hollywood’s CEO, Talaat Captan, “Repurposing commercial aircraft offers a unique opportunity to infuse utility, artistry, and sustainability into one beautiful product. LUXE Travel recognized and seized that opportunity to their benefit.”
Despite the obvious logistical challenges imposed by the Covid-19 crisis, the companies forged ahead and completed the project on-time and on-budget. Carter states, “It just happens that we launched our newly themed office in the middle of the pandemic, at a time when air travel is an out-of-reach concept for most people, even the most traditionally avid travelers. And there’s no telling when we will return to normal. For this reason, we believe inspiration is needed now more than ever.”
