The song has been picturised for the 1st time in Rishikesh at Laxman Jhula, it was a difficult task as permissions were not given for 12 years to shoot at the location.
Amidst heavy protocol, permission was given and the shots taken at “Laxman Jhula” are absolutely mind-blowing also the picturising which has been devised with the TIME team speaks of high quality and the song is all about a relationship between a father and daughter, where actor-singer Aushim Khetrapal is in a situation where his daughter commits suicide due to reasons which are taboo in the society. “Maula Mere Maula” is a sad love song depicting the relationship between a father and a daughter. The song mainly tries to spread awareness of how “all lives matter”. The transgender / LGBTQ community needs to be supported by spreading awareness of the community and its equal justice in society, so we do not lose more lives. The transgender community has the fundamental right to equal citizenship. Most of whom are suppressed under social stigmatization. We need to not discriminate and live in a space where all lives equally matter.
