Max Acro Invitational Competition to be hosted in Northern California by Max Acro Paragliding

North American Acro Paragliding Pilots to gather, learn and compete at the first Max Acro Invitational Competition hosted by Max Acro Paragliding LLC

Napa, California Jul 21, 2022 (Issuewire.com)  - On one of the most beautiful weekends of the fall on August 11-14, 2022, ten of the best acrobatic/aerobatic paragliding pilots, from all across North America, will showcase their abilities to execute with maximum precision and skill some of the over 60 existing acrobatic maneuvers, in which they can reach incredible speeds and forces of up to 6G. Both Canadian and US pilots have been nominated by their local SIV instructors and members of their flight community, invited to and will attend this unique event, the Max Acro Invitational Competition (maxacro.com).  Airg Products (airg.family), Baja Jerky (Bajavida.com), and Max Acro Paragliding LLC (maxacro.com) have generously sponsored the competition and will be providing amazing prizes to the top finishers.

The weekend is a hybrid of an acro-specific SIV course with a competition focus concluding with a  competition among invitees to see which pilots will grab the first, second, and third place spots for the ONLY acro paragliding competition in the United States for 2022.

The format of the Max Acro Invitational Competition is designed for each pilot to offer creative routines by chaining different maneuvers together after releasing from a tow line over the center of Lake Berryessa California.

This year's participants include Max Acro Team Pilots Mike Cozza and husband and wife duo Jason and Jenn Lauritzen, paramotor extraordinaires Judson Graham, along with pilots from Canada Kris Chasse, Chad Charles, and more!

The Max Acro Invitational Competition was created by Max Acro Paragliding LLC (maxacro.com) owners Max Marien and his soon-to-be wife Cheyanne in 2022 in response to an overwhelming need for growth in the acrobatic paragliding division of the United States air sports.  Max Marien is an Acro paragliding pilot himself, having represented the US on an international level of competition across the globe and set the World Record in 2012 for an acrobatic maneuver called the Infinite Tumble.  With hopes of training the next generation of North American paragliding pilots to compete internationally with Europe and South America, Max Acro Paragliding has begun hosting these clinics and have plans for many more acrobatic competitions to come.  The future for Acro Paragliding in North America is alive and growing and we are excited to see what this next chapter holds for this evolving sport.
