Mohit Sahu completed his secondary education from Government School at Raigarh and then moved to National Institute of Technology, Raipur to pursue his B.Tech in Mining Engineering. He is the Co-Founder and Director at Minocular (BlueBanyan Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) India. Where he leads the execution of product development of Minocular. He has 6 years of experience in the field of information security(web app security) and 2+ years in research and design of various layers of the IoT and its predecessor technologies such as wireless sensor networks, and machine-to-machine (M2M) communication using Open Source technology.
Minocular co-founded by Mohit Sahu, is a SAAS based platform for the mining industry, it's a suite of Applications and customized Hardware that is redefining mining intelligence & the overall work mechanism to attain Maximum Efficiency in Production & Utilization of Assets using IoT and Machine Learning.
Mohit Sahu says, there is a rapid upsurge in the demand for latest technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), AI ML and Cloud across all sectors. Mohit comes from a middle-class family and his father being a police officer, so like all such families getting a government job for a stable life was the ultimate aim of his parents for him. This led him to pursue Engineering in Mining field as that promised most of these things. But as destiny had it, he developed a keen interest in Ethical Hacking during college, and also got detained for two years due to it, Mohit lost the placement season, but somehow ended up graduating with a gold medal for his contributions to the Ethical hacking community. Though still for his father, he was on the other side of the law, as hacking was always a negative term for him.
Right after graduating, he met his co-founder Puru, who too at that time was a fresh college pass out and they started BlueBanyan together. For the first few months, like every IT company, they were happy with getting software projects and managing a small team of developers. by this time his family understood his inclination towards entrepreneurship and started supporting it. One of the most emotional moments of his life was when he was called by the police department to advise them about the technology and IT security, and his father was among the audience. He was full of tears when Mohit's name was announced as the speaker, recounts Mohit.
But life then came to a full circle, his Mining degree which was of not much use till date, suddenly became useful. He started working on digitalizing the industries and the first industry was mining where Mohit got good traction. His small company BlueBanyan, which till date was making only software, transformed into a company which working on disruptive technologies solving some of the hardest problems of the industry and affecting the real lives of people.
