Shahkot, Punjab Mar 9, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Nankana Sahib (Shahkot) [Pakistan], May 22, During the days of pandemic out broke this year, 27-year-old Mian Bilal Chudhary also known as Bilal Arshad, was wondering how he could find out a way to feed the hungry and needy people in the hour of trouble. He says “I have faced many emotional moments in my life, but as the corona pandemic out broke this year, it brought a number of such emotional occasions in my life, that I felt the urge to help the poor and needy in this hour of need.”
As Pakistan is considered as one of the developing countries, this is quite obvious that developing countries of the world have suffered a lot financially from the pandemic as compared to the developed countries like the United States, France, and Canada. “These countries have easily managed the crisis in financial terms”, says Mian Bilal Arshad.
Mian Bilal Arshad aimed to aid the underprivileged citizens of Pakistan, who faced hunger and unemployment. It was in the days of April, this year when there was a lockdown imposed in Pakistan. Shops and markets were closed off, food stalls, hotels, and every micro, middle and large enterprise suffered huge economic crisis those days. Lower class people, industrial laborers, food vendors, and every family belonging to the lower class, was feeling hungry. Such people had nothing to feed their children and were unable to run their homes because work was closed due to the pandemic.
In that critical situation, Sir Mian Bilal Chudhary took a great step to care for those people who were needy and hungry for meals. He convinced his family members, arranged the required money, and got started to establish a feeding center for the deserving people. At the feeding center, the deserving people, who had nothing to eat, were served three meals a day free of any cost.
He also arranged food and grocery packages and transported them to the doorsteps of deserving people. He says, “We are a nation and poor brothers are a responsibility upon us, in such a crisis I felt it obligatory upon me to take such a step, and I pay a humble request to every Pakistani to care for the deserving people around you because most of them don’t ask you for help, but the hunger and poverty reflecting from their face do ask you.”
As a political official, Mian Bilal Chudhary did a good job and won the hearts of many people. The people who had been helped by him will keep praying for her success and progress. As he says, “Getting prayers by helping others gives you an inner peace that can never be acquired anyhow else.”
