Before coming to Florida where he completed a neurological spine fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital in March of 2015, Dr. Thomas practiced general neurosurgery in Washington state for 17 years. While in Yakima, Washington, he worked as the Chief Neurosurgeon at the Central Washington Neuroscience Center and had a private practice.
Throughout his career, he has performed a variety of procedures and has created a number of videos to teach medical students at the Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences. He is currently licensed in both Washington and Florida and is affiliated with the Surgery Center of Winter Park.
Having helped many patients find back pain relief through minimally invasive procedures, Dr. Thomas is a member of the Back Pain Centers of America network.
