Miami, Florida Nov 22, 2019 (Issuewire.com)  - For nearly all of young life, Cleo Robinson Jr. had never strayed far from his hometown of Springfield in Missouri, where he stayed with his parents and two sisters. Enjoying a relatively carefree childhood, his life then was fun, if a little tame. That is, until his graduation from high school, when his eldest sister and her husband came to invite him to stay in Sanderson, Texas, where they had moved. Since he had no immediate plans for college, he said yes, and his life would never be the same.

His experiences during his nine-month stay in this railroad town southwest of Texas are documented in Trails to and Tales from Sanderson, Texas. He also touches upon early life in Ionia, Missouri, based on stories his father shared to him. Funny, heartwarming, and filled with relatable characters, Trails is only the first of a two-part series that Robinson was inspired to pen during his stay in Sanderson.

He did eventually return to Springfield, reluctantly saying good-bye to the memories and the relationships he made in Sanderson. He would then enroll in the local university, earn a BS Ed. in History, and later forge a successful career in the military.

Cleo’s work will be exhibited at the Miami Book Fair Street Fair weekend, to be held at Miami Dade College (Wolfson Campus) in downtown Miami this coming November 22-24 at the Authors Press booth. You may meet the author personally at our booth starting at 10:30 a.m. on the 22nd of November where he will be signing copies, with free giveaways.
