New York City, New York Nov 7, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Dr. Randhawa is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon practicing at The Heart and Vascular Institute at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky. He specializes in open-heart procedures, off-pump bypasses, valve surgery, lung and chest wall resections, aortic and peripheral vascular surgeries, and complex cardiac procedures.

Continuing his training, Dr. Randhawa conducted residencies in general surgery at The Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago in 1991 and 1997, respectively. He ultimately performed his fellowship in thoracic surgery at The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in 1999.
The doctor is board-certified in cardiothoracic surgery by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, and in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery.
