Arizona Arthritis & Rheumatology Associates is a private single specialty medical practice with eight locations across Arizona: six in the Phoenix metropolitan communities (better known as the Valley of the Sun), one in Flagstaff, and one in Tucson. The practice’s expertise lies in the diagnosis and management of disorders wherein the immune system aberrations result in unnecessary and harmful inflammation in various organs of the human body.

Dr. Amin received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002. She then went on to complete her fellowship training in rheumatology in 2007. Thereafter, she began her career as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. During her time at the faculty, Dr. Amin was appointed Director of the Rheumatology Clinic. She was also actively involved in the medical education of students, residents, and fellows.

In 2009, Dr. Amin moved to Los Angeles and joined the clinical faculty at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, all the while continuing patient care in clinical practice. Two years later, she moved to Arizona and has been practicing rheumatology in the Valley ever since.

Dr. Amin has maintained her passion for teaching through an affiliation with the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine - a part of Midwestern University.

Dr. Amin is board-certified in rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Dr. Amin is a member of the American College of Physicians (ACP) and the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).

Rheumatology is a branch of medicine devoted to the diagnosis and therapy of rheumatic diseases. As a rheumatologist, Dr. Amin has special training in treating diseases that affect joints, muscles, and bones, including those known as autoimmune conditions or rheumatic diseases. She is also actively involved in various clinical research trials involving rheumatic diseases.
