The story is told through the eyes of Crown Prince Darien of Tabithia, who himself must navigate court intrigues while coming to terms with his own abilities . . . and destiny.

Alan has been a theater critic for the past forty years (while being an itinerant actor for five) based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina (Go, Heels!). He studied Literature for Performance at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
