Pittsburg, California May 29, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - Author Virgil D. Mochel shares his family’s voyage to and life in America in his new book, Virgil’s Story.
In Virgil’s Story, the author explains why his ancestors from Europe — all with their own reasons and concerns — wanted to leave their homeland and migrate to the new world. Various reasons include wars, religious intolerance, and decisions by the various kings or queens were the factors that drove them to look for better conditions elsewhere. The book also narrates their life on a farm during the Great Depression and World War II, specifically the emotional devastation on the deaths of two brothers in that war. The readers will also discover the experiences of Virgil and Marian as they took their life journey together.
Virgil’s work will be exhibited at the BookExpo + BookCon 2019, to be held at the Jacob Javits Center, New York City, this coming May 29 to 31 and June 1 and 2, 2019, at the Authors Press Booth # 1667.
