Cary, North Carolina Jul 15, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - North Carolina Independent Dermatology Collaboration (NCIDC) today announced accelerated recognition of its physician-owned and managed clinically integrated network (CIN). Established to help independent dermatology physicians work together as an integrated network to be an integral part of health care transformation to value based care. NCIDC will help members make a greater contribution to value-based organizations that have contracts with government and commercial payers.
NCIDC is physician-owned and managed by 24 independent dermatologic providers. The CIN was designed to encourage a team-based approach to care access and delivery, allowing greater sharing of patient data and new access model practices, and adherence to requirements by our partners for sharing responsibility, lowering costs, and elevating care. By meeting specific value-based requirements, practices will have the opportunity to become high value specialists and co-managers through the CIN.

NCIDC will empower independent dermatology physician practices to deliver more integrated care, an enhanced patient experience, and a lower overall cost of care through a broad range of integrated initiatives delivered by the NCIDC as a group. These integrated resources include triage driven access to dermatology care, clinical protocols to reduce variation in physician practice patterns and data analytics, technology, access transformation and referral loop closure with advanced technology.
