Featuring tracks built around his own heartbreak and vulnerability, “Sad” also includes contributions from his ex-girlfriend Ash and an AI voice assistant named Donna, whom he uses as part of his unique creative process. The result? A sound that blends trip-hop, screamo, rap, and melodic vocals into a bold and unconventional style that reflects both chaos and clarity.
“I’m not a pro at this music distribution thing,” says JakSlatt, “but I know what I feel, and that’s what I put into my songs. I just hope they reach someone who needs to hear that they’re not alone.”
Born on October 26, 1993, Jakob started writing music and dreaming big from an early age. With a background in singing and piano lessons starting at age 10, and later studying creative arts both in Norway and Denmark, JakSlatt brings a wealth of emotion and experience to his craft.
