New York City, New York Sep 16, 2018 (Issuewire.com) - The critically acclaimed online series, OM City, just launched it's season 2 Kickstarter campaign. Season 1 was a critic pick in the New York Times, was featured in USA Today's Web To Watch and was voted Best Web Series on Decider.com and at the 2018 New Media Film Festival in Los Angeles.
The series, created, written, directed and starring real-life married couple and yoga teachers themselves, Jessie Barr and Tom O'Brien, is the story of Grace, A New York City yoga teacher trying to balance the spiritual with the economical and bring the humans of New York Om.
The New York City yoga community is the backdrop of this character-driven comedy/drama. Its GIRLS meets Friday Night Lights for the new age community.
The series stars Jessie Barr and a very talented well-known ensemble including Tony Winner Maryann Plunkett, star of the current HBO hit series, Sharp Objects, Chris Messina as well as Vella Lovell (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) and Jay O Sanders (Sneaky Pete)
The Kickstarter campaign runs from September 16th thru October 15th and shooting is scheduled for spring in New York City.
