There are many wonderful instrumental covers in the album ‘My Island Home’ such as the title track ‘My Island Home’ which was originally recorded by the Warumpi Band in 1986. Similarly, there is another powerful cover named ‘Ooh Aah ... Just a Little Bit’, a debut solo single by Australian singer Gina G. Other beautiful covers include ‘Have You Never Been Mellow’, originally sung by Olivia Newton-John, The Seekers’ song ‘Georgy Girl’, M.P.D Limited’s song ‘Little Boy Sad’, INXS’ ‘What You Need’, and the list goes on. The album offers a dynamic taste of Australian music of all eras starting from the ‘60s to the modern age. The diversified essence only shows the musical versatility of this talented Pop music artist from Perth.
