Toronto, Ontario Aug 23, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Ontario International Film Festival changes its date to begin October 16th and ends 25th.
On August 10, 2020, Ontario International Film Festival (ONIFF) has announced the officially selected films from all criteria to be the ones competing in the festival.
After 4 months of extensive work and long hours by our team of experts, critics, artists and other volunteers, watching multiple times the 511 films submitted, ONIFF has selected 199 in the different competing categories as follows:
- International Feature 27 films
- International documentaries 21 films
- International short films 69 films
- International student films 20 films
- Canadian Feature 5 films
- Canadian documentaries 5 films
- Canadian short films 35 films
- Canadian Student films 21 films
The festival will be held in October 2020, as scheduled, however, due to the travel and gathering restrictions all ceremonies, hosting and celebrations will be broadcasted online.
We would like to thank each and every wonderful filmmaker who submitted her/his work to the festival, and we congratulate the selected films. Meantime, we wish all the other better chances in the future. Also ONIFF would like to thank all those who participated in the selection process, and for their efforts to make this year’s festival a successful one.
