When he was 9 years old, Aryan decided that he wanted to take action on environmental issues and help create a sustainable planet. Since then, Aryan has built a powerful network of organizations, volunteers, youth advocates, political representatives, indigenous and other communities. With over 10,000 volunteer hours under his belt, Aryan is dedicated to increasing awareness and understanding of climate change, environmentalism, and philanthropy. As the youngest Founder and Director of a Canadian nonprofit, ‘Save the Planet - Open Doors,’ Aryan uses his positivity, passion, and perseverance to inspire others to get involved.
Aryan's organization is working on several award-winning and world-renowned initiatives.
"I got the award for my environmental and philanthropic efforts. Namely, for the few initiatives, I have started. I am working on 5 or 6 initiatives at the moment but 3 of them are on a larger scale. These initiatives are a part of my Federally Incorporated Environmental Non-Profit Organization called Save the Planet - Open Doors." says Aryan, one of the youngest non-profit owners in Canada.
Firstly, his project H.E.E.R (Housing Energy Efficiency Rating). This is a rating based on a matrix that goes over every part of a home or property's energy efficiency and turns it into a small number that can be put on real estate listings. Aryan and his organization have been researching and have had to advise from many organizations and professionals on the rating, including specialists in this sector, professors from some of the top universities in Canada, and more. "We have gotten our primary approval and are doing a final check and revision before it goes online in my Canadian Province of Ontario." Just at its launch, H.E.E.R will be positively affecting over 14.5 million people and every homeowner in the province, causing not only a very large environmental advancement but a socio-economic profit as well. This project has been supported by dozens of worldwide organizations such as the United Nations, Earth5r, and UNICEF to several national and indigenous organizations such as the M.C.A, Eagle Spirits of the Great Waters, Eco-Spirits, and the Bringin' on Biodiversity campaign to noteworthy individuals and governmental organizations like The Ministry of Home Affairs - India, National Institute of Disaster Management - India, OREA (the Ontario Real Estate Board), MP Sven Spengemann, indigenous elder and representative Barry Gilbert, several faculties of universities such as the University of Toronto - Mississauga and Humber College, several additional representatives of the federal and provincial governments within Canada and many others. This project has also been recognized in the North American United Nations Environment Programme/Assembly's Regional Input report as one of 15 recognized natural-environmental projects in North America.
Next, Aryan has decided to take a more natural approach to his initiative with the project Butternut Restoration. The Butternut tree is an endangered tree in Canada with only about 13,000 still remaining. Being very important to Canadian Indigenous communities and being 1 of 2 walnut trees native to Canada, the tree must be protected and its population values restored. This project plans to replant and re-diversify the tree across Canada, starting with select public parks, areas, and locations. Aryan stated "I knew that this project needs to start somewhere and then spread to a wider area of effect. And then I thought, why not start at school? We are adapting Project Butternut Restoration to make it accessible to the students of Erindale Secondary School in the form of a Mental Wellness Garden which also incorporates Butternut trees into its landscape. As soon as it is safe to do so, we will begin the development of this garden as the initial seed of what I am sure will be a successful part of a much larger representation this tree carries. It will represent Canadian history, culture, and heritage, bringing it to the future for generations to come!"

Lastly, Aryan has launched a much newer but also very interesting and already successful project. Project Killbit (SYMB: KILB) is a cryptocurrency created by Aryan's non-profit organization less than a month ago. It is already online and being traded worldwide with its main objective being to donate what is soon to be hundreds of organizations worldwide, aiding environmental, philanthropic, humanitarian, and overall, many important causes. "The best part is that we created Killbit's system so we can do this without taking even a penny from traders. In essence, you can trade the coin, make a large profit from it and donate to hundreds of possible campaigns and causes without giving out even a penny of that profit. It is a win-win-win for everyone!" said Aryan. According to Save the Planet - Open Doors, the reason for Killbit's utmost importance is the recent negative environmental impact that other large cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin have caused. Just 1 transaction of bitcoin costs the equivalent environmental damage to almost 680,000 visa transactions or bingeing more than 51,210 hours of YouTube nonstop. Not to mention that mining bitcoin charges our environment in terms of fossil fuel and other important energy-generating rigs. Mining bitcoin uses 120 Terawatt Hours (Twh) per year, which means it is using more electricity annually than in countries like Malaysia, Sweden, or Argentina. Research has also stated that bitcoin could rank in the top 30 energy consumers if it were a country. Gassed NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) have also been hitting headlines as we see this digital art being sold for millions of dollars. The darker part of the story is that creating the average NFT will generate around 200 kg of carbon, the equivalent of driving 500 miles in the average petrol-powered car. "Killbit is the solution to this environmental damage and is the first cryptocurrency to create such a donative system!" More information can be found on Killbit's website at www.killbitcoinnow.com.

Tessy Ojo, CEO of The Diana Award, says:
“We congratulate all our new Diana Award recipients from the UK and all over the globe who are changemakers for their generation. We know by receiving this honour they will inspire more young people to get involved in their communities and begin their own journey as active citizens. For over twenty years The Diana Award has valued and invested in young people encouraging them to continue to make positive change in their communities and lives of others.”
----------
WHAT IS THE NOMINATION PROCESS?
Award recipients have been put forward by adults who know the young people in a professional capacity and recognised their efforts as a positive contribution to society. Through a rigorous nomination process, these nominators had to demonstrate the nominee’s impact in five key areas: Vision, Social Impact, Inspiring Others, Youth Leadership, and Service Journey.
There are 12 Diana Award Judging Panels representing each UK region or nation and a further three panels representing countries outside of the UK. Each panel consist of three judges; one young person, an education or youth work professional, and a business or government representative. The panels have an important main purpose: to determine which nominations from each UK region/nation/country will receive The Diana Award.
Nominations are judged using the Criteria Guide and Scoring Guide which have been created to measure the quality of youth social action.
