Chennai, Tamil Nadu Oct 6, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - The Institution of Green Engineers (IGEN) #theigen debut IGEN SDG ACTION AWARDS G01 witnessed on 30th September 2022, hosted and presented at KIT- KalaignarKarunanidhi Institute of Technology, Coimbatore.
The successful green action participants of #igensdgprojects will receive #igensdgactionawards. The Coimbatore region 120 winners of #igenenergy99challenge V1.0 Project received IGEN SDG ACTION AWARDS G01 with IGEN Carbon Credit Certificate and placement of winners name in IGEN Wall of Fame.
The Award function was presided over by the founder chairman of KIT KalaignarKarunanidhi Institute of Technology, Pongalur Thiru. N.Palanisamy stressed the importance of CO2 emission and the energy conservation project. He had presented #igensdgactionawards to the successful achievers. The Vice-Chairperson of KIT, Mrs. Indu Murugesan felicitate the winners and presented the winners' certification.
Dr.M.Saravana Kumar (Dean- Anna University regional campus Coimbatore), Dr.L.Ashok Kumar (Chairman of IAEMP, Coimbatore chapter, Professor PSG College of Technology), and Dr. Mohanasundaram (IGEN Director) presented IGEN Carbon Credit Certificate to the contributors of #igenenergy99challenge.
Dr.L.Ramesh IGEN President, congratulate all the winners of #igenenergy99challenge and proposed the concept of IGEN WALL OF FAME. IGEN WALL OF FAME is a wall containing plaques commemorating notable individuals. This wall is dedicated to honouring people who distinguished themselves in IGEN SDG Projects. The IGEN WALL OF FAME was released by the Vice-Chairperson of KIT, Mrs. Indu Murugesan, and the first copy of FAME was presented to IGEN President.
In this event, Principal Dr.N. Mohandass Gandhi, Vice Principal Dr. M. Ramesh, Dean-Student Affairs Dr. S. Suresh, Dean Research Dr.K. Ramasamy, Head EEE Dr.R. Mythili, KIT- ENSAV club and E99C coordinators Mr. R.Thamizharasan, Mr.T.Barath Kumar and faculty members of KIT and other various institution were present in the Ceremony.
