Sacramento, California Oct 21, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - ISDR World Relief Foundation (SDR-WRF) is proud to announce it is now officially a nonprofit with tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. SDR-WRF is also now eligible to apply for government and foundation grants, which will further broaden its access to resources and strengthen its ability to provide supportive programs, services, resources, and referrals programs that help people globally.
“Obtaining 501(c)(3) status enables SDR-WRF to provide services to the homeless, abused, human trafficked, and to those experiencing difficulties due to disasters worldwide.” The granting of nonprofit status to SDR-WRF is a significant milestone for our growing organization. We are excited to give communities the on-going support they need during challenging times and to be in a position to act when a disaster strikes,” Executive Director Sandra Richardson added.
Since its formation in July 2019, SDR-WRF has created a structure with programs and services that provide support to people who are experiencing difficulty with daily living due to homelessness, abuse, human trafficking, prison release, Foster release
The organization assembled a Board of Directors, supportive committees, and analysts, with a combined experience of over 60 years in the community and program development, to designed programs and services that support disaster relief victims, the homelessness, abused, and human trafficked women.
