Tucson, Arizona Mar 18, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - Ben Fine’s “The Lazarus Operation” is an action-packed thriller centering on the imminent danger that befalls upon the American government and its unaware citizens. Caught in a political conundrum, a retired professor who is now a recovering alcoholic working as a musician, seeks assistance from a columnist and a detective. The unlikely team of three manages to uncover a menacing plot that threatens to collapse the federal government.
The book is the author’s first contribution in the fiction genre. Fine has published eight books on science and mathematics and over a hundred fifty researches. One of his books, “The Fundamental Theorem of Algebra,” won the Alpha Sigma Nu Prize for Science in 2000. He also dabbles with poetry and other literary forms.
Ben Fine recently had a meet-and-greet session at the Tucson Festival of Books held at the University of Arizona campus last March 2 to 3, 2019. He signed copies of his books at the Authors Press’ booth. Festival goers and readers from all ages learned more about the author as he discussed his work and inspiration in person.
