He spent five years working with faculty and staff at Harvard University Health Services, before changing direction to primarily inpatient child and adolescent psychiatry.
The doctor has extensive experience in the treatment of ADHD, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders as a clinical researcher in the Pediatric Psychopharmacology Research Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital. Finally, he completed an additional fellowship in psychosomatic medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in 1999.
Passionate about his profession, the doctor is board-certified in psychiatry and child & adolescent psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.
Among his other roles, he is on the editorial board of The International Journal of Immunology and Pharmacology, which was recently cited as one of the top ten scientific journals in Italy. In his first two years of practice at MGH and McLean Hospital, he was honored with three Mass General Brigham in Excellence Awards.
