Baltimore, Maryland Mar 25, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - 2 brothers from the harsh streets of Baltimore, looking for a way to express their lives through music. Poppa Mike (23) and RobLee(26) has just dropped their debut mixtape, Tha Takeova, and it's getting a little bit of buzz around town. The mixtape sends you through different emotions, from getting hyped, to mellowing down with some cool chill vibes. Their first song, Takeova, is a high tempo, a punchy rap song with great lyrics and top-notch flows from both rappers. In the song, they express how much better they are at rapping than their competition, and definitely delivers in this one. The tape also includes a song titled “Ain’t Sh!t, as rapper RobLee expresses his feelings of modern day relationships from both perspectives. Poppa comes and cleans up with a sick verse at the end. The tape overall has 10 songs. 6 from both Mike and Rob, and 2 solo joints each, with seems deliberate, yet balanced. This album is a great listen.
