Jeffersontown Ky, July 17, 2022. Water with Blessings announces that on July 27th, 2022, Roger Willie (Navajo artist, educator, actor and military veteran), will be in Jeffersontown KY to receive the keys to the City of Jeffersontown Ky from Mayor Bill Dieruf. Mr. Willie is being honored as the National Ambassador of Water for the year 2022 by Water with Blessings an international nonprofit water purification ministry that is based in Jeffersontown Ky.
Mr. Willie served as a partner lead in The Navajo Water Project, and also developed and designed a teaching manual and informational brochure for The Navajo Water Project. The Navajo Water special project is being conducted in direct collaboration with and permission of elected leadership of the Navajo Nation and helps provide clean drinking water in the Navajo community.
Mr. Willie will be the guest of Honor in a VIP event on July 27 in Jeffersontown KY, and will return to Kentucky on October 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th as the Official water Ambassador for Water with Blessings and help kick off the Intertribal water Gathering (An Indigenous cultural and educational engaging event to raise awareness of Native water needs and provide clean drinking water for the Navajo Nation and other Indigenous communities.)
