Treating pediatrics and adults, her clinical interests include pediatric radiology and nuclear medicine, oncologic imaging, genitourinary imaging, PET / CT, radiology, imaging, and body imaging. 

The Gordon Center for Medical Imaging is a multidisciplinary research center at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School that develops biomedical imaging technologies.

As for her other appointments, Dr. Lim serves as an Assistant Radiologist in the Department of Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital, and as an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School.

Her research interests include 18F-FDG PET/MR fusion imaging of neurofibromatosis, 11C-MET PET imaging of low-grade cartilage tumors, 18F-MISO hypoxia imaging of chordoma in radiotherapy patients, dynamic factor analysis in magnetic resonance urography, dual-isotope SPECT 123I-MIBG/99mTc-MDP for neuroblastoma, and 11C-MET PET in pediatric tumors.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Lim graduated with her medical degree from the Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto in 1999. She then went on to perform her residency in diagnostic radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital, and her fellowship at Harvard Medical School.

Experienced in using medical imaging techniques, she is board-certified in diagnostic radiology, pediatric radiology, and nuclear radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is an independent, not-for-profit organization and is one of 24 national medical specialty boards that make up the American Board of Medical Specialties.

Furthermore, she is board-certified in nuclear medicine by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine, which certifies physicians as specialists in the practice of nuclear medicine.

The tests and equipment used sometimes involve low doses of radiation to create highly detailed images of an area.
