Sandy Springs, Georgia Jun 26, 2024 (Issuewire.com) - Call For Caring Inc. presents the School of Family Caregiving for the City of Sandy Springs residents.
The Call For Caring Inc. School of Family Caregiving, Community Based Program, is highly interactive and applies principles of adult learning in each session. The program includes training topics related to the knowledge and skills attendant to planning care; identifying local, state, and federal resources; understanding family caregiving legal matters; chronic medical conditions; vital signs skill lab; communicating with health care professionals; medication management; nutrition education; dementia education; virtual dementia tour; self-care and CPR course.
The City of Sandy Springs community based summer program dates are July 16, 2024 - August 27, 2024. One class per week will be available for Sandy Springs residents. Residents may also receive respite care for their loved ones while they attend class. Classes will return for a fall session beginning September 2024.
