Denver, Colorado Oct 1, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - An event dedicated to cats is coming back to Denver this December and attendees can expect more activities, nonstop presentations on feline health and wellness, cats and yoga, meditation sessions, one-of-a-kind art, music, and a lot more cats.
With adventure cats and the socialization of cats gaining more popularity, Snowcats Cat Convention has become the first bring-your-own-cat (BYOC) event of its kind, which was introduced at last year’s inaugural show. It is the only convention to bring together adoptable cats, pop culture, music, art, and of course, feline lovers.
Attendees will have a unique opportunity to spend time with and adopt cats onsite, join numerous educational sessions, participate in workshops, talk to vets, shop unique feline brands, drink meowmosas and meowgaritas, scope out DJs and musicians, and more. Attendees are highly encouraged to come dressed in their favorite cat costume and attire for a chance to win prizes.
“Last year, we had thousands of people from all over the country attend and we learned a lot,” said Brandon Zavala, the mastermind behind Snowcats. “We are going to have a strong focus on educational sessions on feline health and wellness, and have emotional wellness activities for us. We are going to have hourly meditation (aka meowditation) sessions, cats and yoga, and art therapy workshops. On top of that, we’re going to keep the energy high with nonstop musical performances and shows on the main stage and a lot of adoptable kittens in the cat lounges.”
The event will showcase musical performances by Moshowthe Cat Rapper, Yasi, Koion Kitten, and local DJs, a special comedy show featuring Zoltan Kaszas, meet-and-greets with Instagram celebrities, such as Travis Deslaurier, cat advocates, such as Shelly Roche of TinyKittens, and more.
