Her main interests include nineteenth-century history, fine arts, and politics. Ann is also the author of “Remembering the Ladies,” a compendium of essays on nineteenth-century U.S. First Ladies, and “Jane Pierce, her Family, Life and Times.” Jane Pierce was the 14th U.S. First: Lady, who suffered a number of tragedies within her short life.
