Petaluma, California Dec 4, 2022 (Issuewire.com)  - Sherlock Holmes 10 Minute Plays and director John DeGaetano donated a portion of their ticket sales to St. Barts London Charity 9 years ago and the director continues to support the charity. The production was performed on stage in London's West End Leicester Square Theatre and also Kings Head Theatre in Islington in the month of October 2013 with an enthusiastic response.

At that time the Sherlock Holmes 10 Minute Plays London Cast included: Simeon Oakes, Roger Parkins, Ceejay Sargent, Jeffrey Mayhew, Jodyanne Richardson, Josh Morrall, Juliet Prew, and Tom Moores.

Giving back has been a long-time mission...

"Connecting our efforts with St Barts London Charity and contributing has been important to us. Because giving back with assistance has been a long-time mission as a director and advisor," said John DeGaetano, Director. John is also the author of the Sherlock Holmes 10 Minute Plays Collection and several other short stories designed for young actors and adults to practice their acting skills.

St Barts London Charity is an independent charity

The charity funds innovative healthcare, medical, and cancer research across Barts Health NHS Trust. Their hospitals serve Europe’s most diverse communities. From the financial districts of the City and Canary Wharf so to cover some of the UK’s most deprived areas. More Information or Donate to St Barts London Charity

"The project was coincidentally driven by one of the main characters, Dr. Watson due to his fictional presence. In the original Arthur Conan Doyle, stories mention him as a resident of the hospital in the 1800s. Certainly, it seemed fitting that we recognize the hospital's incredible work on cancer research. As a result, we earmarked some of the proceeds from the production, said DeGaetano. “Furthermore, our cast made an amazing team effort to put the production together in such a short amount of time."

Produced by Irish Theatre Presents. Above all, the talented London cast for the production brought to life the iconic characters in a quick turnaround on stage. The stories grow in intensity as it’s up to Holmes, Dr. Watson, and the audience to immediately unravel the mysteries." Based in part on the career writings of Holmes’ long-time friend Dr. Watson. The plays are an homage to Conan Doyle's iconic characters, brought to life in just 10 to 20 minutes in length.
