The first NTA conducted JEE Main Exam for January has already started and over 1.8 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. The score is expected to be out on 30th January 2019. As announced by NTA, a new process for calculation of JEE Main score will take place from this year. The merit list will be based on percentile scores and not on raw marks secured by aspirants in the exam which will be the basis of the creation of final merit list for admissions to IITs.
