In 2003, Dr. Lapidus attended SUNY Upstate University where she earned her medical degree. She then completed an internship at Schneider Children’s Hospital, a residency at North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System and Cohen Children’s Hospital, and a fellowship at Nemours Albert I. DuPong Hospital for Children and Jefferson Medical Center.
Dr. Lapidus maintains a professional membership with the Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatism Research Alliance (CARRA). The CARRA aims to better understand all pediatric-onset rheumatic diseases; how to treat each and every patient most effectively and safely, and eventually find a cure.
