Skyler Hunter Plumps Up the Volume with Dallas Housewives’ Cary Deuber in Viral Video

Rising Dallas Pop Star Goes Viral with Bravo TV Housewife in Cosmetic Procedure Mockumentary

Dallas, Texas Aug 27, 2019 (Issuewire.com)  - Move over Dallas Housewives, there’s a new star in town and his name is Skyler Hunter. The rising singer-songwriter and influencer, who first appeared on the hit Bravo TV reality series, “The Real Housewives of Dallas” stopped by Cary Deuber’s Lemmon Avenue Plastic Surgery and Laser Center to get an enhancement worth a mouthful. Shot in mockumentary style, Skyler gets lip injections administered by Deuber and the following is pure viral video gold.

Millennials are not afraid of cosmetic enhancements or sharing those procedures with their friends thanks to social media. What was once considered “taboo” or “faux pas” in the past is now accepted and shared via popular platforms like YouTube, Snapchat and Instagram. According to a survey conducted by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), 7 out of 10 facial plastic surgeons saw an uptick last year in cosmetic surgery procedures and injectable products. Documenting the procedure has become a huge trend accounting for more than 160 billion views on YouTube alone.

“I don’t think or approach getting filler or work done in a vein way,” says Skyler. “It really is about self care and treating yourself. I’m so happy with the results. And not only aesthetically, but it’s helped my self-confidence drastically.”

Confidence is key in the entertainment industry. It’s what has helped Skyler sell out the House of Blues this past summer in Dallas. It’s what has landed him on the “best dressed” lists at the Grammys and VMA’s. His Grammy outfit was even stolen by Adam Rippon and worn 3 months later at the Oscars. It’s what has made Skyler a sought after songwriter for record labels such as Warner Chappell, Atlantic and APG. He’s worked with numerous Grammy nominated producers/songwriters on his forthcoming EP such as Nick Seeley (Cardi B, Charlie Puth), Drew “Druski” Scott (Zendaya, Teyana Taylor, Nick Jonas) and Shane Stevens (Selena Gomez, Fifth Harmony, Lady Antebellum). With his name and enigmatic personality growing in the Dallas area he garnered the attention of “Real Housewives” Cary Deuber.

“Cary’s daughter, Zuri, always wanted to be a singer,” recalls Skyler. “I began mentoring Zuri in music and training her vocally. I even wrote a song for her.”

In addition to the Housewives series that is returning to Bravo September 4th for their fourth season, Cary also announced and released the trailer for her new series “Plump It Up”. The show follows the daily operation of the Lemmon Ave. office and how Cary and her husband run one of the most successful plastic surgery facilities in the Dallas area. Cary is currently shopping the series for a production deal.

Skyler recently collaborated with Jeff Adair (Dorrough, Kevin Gates) on the music video for his hit single “Yeah Yeah Yeah”. The singer teased some of the music video, which he plans to release at the end of the summer to fans on his Instagram with images of himself in a custom rocket ship preparing to head towards the moon. The same trajectory is what Skyler sees for himself and his career if he continues to stay true and transparent.

“I want my fans to remember that above all else I always stay true to myself,” states Skyler. “And that's in every aspect of my life – my music, getting filler, relationships, anything. I realize that I’m really different and I’ve never really fit in but I find the beauty in that and allow myself to be 100 percent myself all the time. It’s truly how I’ve found my happiness, by finding myself.”
