Solarplexius in Portugal has now successfully received the certification by IMT for sun protection of cars.
“It is informed that the elements in the question of the Solarplexius brand do not fall within the scope of the Regulation on Safety Glass and Vehicle Window Materials and its Trailers, approved by Decree - Law n . 40/2003, of March 11, with the changes introduced by Decree - Law n . 392/2007, of December 27th, and by Decree-Law no. 193/2009, of August 17th”.
Not intended for direct and permanent application on car windows by adhesion to the surfaces, allowing them to be removed at all times without the use of tools, these elements are considered to be removable and equivalent to curtains, and they cannot be installed. Their installation will not compromise the vehicle's visibility conditions.
The above accreditation by IMT(Instituto da Mobilidade e dos Transportes, I.P. ) allows the vehicle owners to install the Solarplexius Sun protection for cars without any legal hassles.
