Dr. Ghany, who has over 20 years of experience at the highest level, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a subspecialty certification in surgery of the hand.
Dr. Ghany graduated from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY where he also completed his residency. Later on, he completed his fellowship training in hand surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System.
Dr. Ghany’s areas of interest include hand to elbow disorders including injuries, arthritic conditions, wrist pain, and carpal tunnel syndrome. He has performed thousands of endoscopic carpal tunnel releases. He is also well-versed in wrist arthroscopy with TFCC repairs.
Dr. Ghany also has experience in repairing fractures from the elbows to the fingertips, tendon repairs to the wrist and hand, as well as the distal biceps and triceps at the elbow. He is trained in microsurgical techniques for the repair of nerve injuries.
Dr. Ghany has been practicing in Columbus, OH for the last 14 years. He now returns to South Florida with vast experience accumulated over the past years.
