Charlotte, North Carolina Mar 28, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - After making the difficult decision earlier this week to reduce hourly employees from property schedules due to the effects of COVID-19 on the hotel industry, SREE Hotels has
announced that meals will be provided to affected Charlotte-area employees and their immediate family members starting March 19, 2020, until further notice. The company is evaluating its ability to extend this service to other areas of NC, SC, and OH where it owns hotels.
“Making the decision to reduce hours for our most valuable team members was one of the hardest we’ve had to make in our 40 years of business,” said Executive Vice President of Operations, Kevin Famiglietta. “Being able to provide a hot meal, 7 days a week, for our affected team members and their families is a step we are proud to be able to take. As a family-owned and operated business, we think of our team as our extended family and are doing what we can to support them in these unusual times”.
The meal pick-up hub will be at Embassy Suites Charlotte. Employees of SREE’s Charlotte area hotels should contact their General Manager or direct supervisor for more details on pick up times, locations, and additional details.
