Monaragala, Sri Lanka Aug 3, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - The corona epidemic has given an irreparable punishment to the students who are studying. But that collapse was able be controlled by some people in the midst of various problems due to online education. A mobile phone application has been created by a group of young people in Sri Lanka, providing an answer to the educational backlog of home-schooled students. It is called 'Math Master' (SL Math Master). Covering the mathematics syllabus from year one to year 12, this program is designed to engage children in learning mathematics while having fun. In addition to this program, these young people have created much other software that makes everyday life easier.
Ravindu Dilshan and Lahiru Sandaruwan are the creators of this computer collaboration. Ravindu and Lahiru are working as designers of computer programs. Ravindu has done the software development of these programs created by them, and the website, and UI/UX design have been done by Lahiru. Besides these applications, they maintain a Facebook page and a Facebook group (FB Group) called 'Cyber Yakku' (Cyber Yakku) where Internet problems and mobile phone technical problems are discussed. This Facebook group, which has a large number of people together, provides immediate assistance in any internet and telephone technical problem.
The Pirith Potha is the creation of Ravindu and Lahiru, which currently contains the largest collection of Pirith and Bodhi Puja Vandana Gathas in Sri Lanka. This application has been designed in such a way that it is possible to listen to Pirith, Bodhi Pooja, Kavi Bana, Viridu, and Seth Pirith till dawn for reading as well as listening. And with this, it is possible to automatically know the importance of different poya days on the respective poya days.
The Ravidu and Lahiru Math Master mobile program has been created as a game that develops math knowledge from year 01 to year 12 so that students who are away from school education of the covid epidemic can learn mathematics without any boredom. This app can be easily downloaded for free on any Android phone through Play Store. A technical feature of this software is that it can be installed with less memory. It is also possible to use it even when there is no internet facility (Offline). Another feature is that it can be used in eight languages around the world, including Sinhala and English.
It has included many math problems ranging from various simple math methods to difficult math tasks according to the order of scoring in a way that easily attracts children. And these math problems can also be divided into two and solved as a game played together by two people while having fun. In this game, points are added as points. In the future, with the updates of this program, a system is being prepared to use the points given by the app and buy the textbooks, and story books (in PDF format) you need online for free.
In this program with a very large pool of math problems, first learning math is explained with examples and then a part is also made to practice asking questions from the given knowledge. Those familiar math problems are game-like, with right-wrong and fill-in-the-blank elements. You can also solve problems in this app by participating in a math problem competition. A certain time is given to solve those problems and an opportunity is also provided to get a lifeline. If there are complex problems in the game, the student is given the opportunity to use three lifelines.
There is also an alarm in the app to set a time to use this app. Also, a system has been set up to give the question papers recommended by the teachers to the students through this app. Ravindu and Lahiru have also fulfilled another national responsibility by spreading the advertisements of teachers who provide free education to the student community in this country through this mobile phone program for free.
This mobile phone application created by Ravindu and Lahiru also won second place in the 'Startup Sri Lanka' new design competition held by the National Youth Service Council in 2021.
You can download all the mobile apps made by Ravindu and Lahiru by searching cyber yakku on google play and the Huawei app gallery. There you can get all over fifteen apps made by the Cyber Yakku team.
While Ravindu and Lahiru appeal to the student community in Sri Lanka to take full advantage of this program, which was created with the aim of helping the majority of poor and innocent students in Sri Lanka to achieve better future hopes, the creators of this program kindly invite the teachers who can provide free guesswork papers to this good deed. To contribute as much as possible.
