Beverly Hills, California Jul 26, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Art takes many forms, from strokes of colors on a canvas to a combination of stained glasses complementing each other. It is a way for artists to turn their imagination into reality, give meaning to their abstract ideas and share something unique with the world. Csilla Soós is no different when it comes to crafting meaningful art. She has been making eye-catching stain-glass art for over 25 years, and "Onde Della Terra" is one of her many prized works.
In her 25 years of well-established career, Csilla's art has made its way into several European countries and even received praise in the United States. Contrary to the typical stained glass artwork that's mostly limited to traditional pieces, Csilla's art form has uniquely evolved into a combination of traditional and modern practices.
The artist is one of the few who can create their own stained glass designs that capture the beauty of nature. To bring her unique design concepts to reality, she has to go through the process of fitting together glass pieces having curves, edges, and waves, which can be challenging and time-consuming. It requires focus, attention to detail, patience, and precision to make a magnificent piece of art out of raw glass pieces, which can be seen in her work.
The intricate design of her recently sold masterpiece "Onde Della Terra" is a labor of love and appreciation for nature. It consists of 30 glass pieces that harmonize all the elements of earth, emanating a sense of power.
"This work of art is one of my favorites. Onde Della Terra (Waves of the Earth in English). I've always loved nature, wandering in nature, land, water, good air, and plants. Through this creation, I wanted to draw attention to the beauty of the materials that surround us. Earth, water, air, and fire also appear through creation. A collective cavalcade of them forms our lives anyway. It reminds us that these elements must be in harmony with each other in order for the whole picture to be in one, or as if the elements of our lives should also fit together in such a soft and playful way." Said Csilla Soós
The Onde Della Terra is a massive piece of art having dimensions of 90 cm x 130 cm or 35" x 51", covering a total of 1.17 m2 of area. What's more, it weighs around 25lbs or 12+ kgs, a result of encompassing 30 pieces of stained glass. With the amount of work, thoughtfulness, patience, precision, and time that went into crafting this masterpiece, no wonder it was auctioned off for a whopping $38,000.
Besides capturing the wonders of nature in her art, Csilla Soós also loves to stain church glass windows and has completed over 30 projects so far. A glimpse of her church artwork can be seen on her gallery website. Due to her outstanding work, she was also awarded an apostolic blessing from Pope Francis in 2016.
After selling her art pieces across Europe, Csilla Soós is now focusing on making her artwork available in the U.S in 2022, starting in the Sunshine State of Florida. Art enthusiasts can view Csilla Soós' work on her website and get inspired by the masterpieces she has crafted over the years.
