The sensor has a 1/2.8Inch optical format, which combined with the pixel size of 1.12 µm x 1.12 µm, provides the 16.0 Megapixel 4656H x 3496V image. It adopts Exmor-R technology to achieve high-speed image capturing with high sensitivity and low noise performance. This is a rolling shutter sensor, which captures an entire column (or row) simultaneously. The sensor compiles the image by scanning across (or down).
This MIPI camera module can be used on other ARM, FPGA, DSP, or Nvidia TX1/TX2 hardware platforms as well.
