Charlotte, North Carolina Dec 26, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - The family and friends of Carol Ann Wilds Orndorff Brillion Sutherland celebrate her life and passing at the age of 89, at about noon on December 17, 2019.
Carol was mother to her daughters Dianne and Susan and her sons Donald, Gregory, Douglas, Wayne, Lance, Keith, all children of the late Donald Frank Orndorff, and daughters-in-law Debbie, Pamela, Karen, Cheryl, Ellen, Ramiko, Lucia, and Jo; and sons-in-law Mamoun and others. She enjoyed the Love and admiration of dozens of grand and great-grandchildren. Carol was also wife to the late Paul C. Brillion, Sr., and Peter Sutherland.
An accomplished pianist, Carol was a part of the worship music teams at Rock Church and The Barn in Virginia Beach, VA, in the 70’s and 80’s and later at New Life Christian Fellowship in Titusville, FL, in the 90’s. She was a successful businesswoman in upholstery and decorating and a professional avian.
Carol’s long and interesting life started in Pittsburgh, PA, as the daughter of Ethel and Howard Wilds and she lived out her retirement in the Denver, NC, community. She was an intelligent, interesting woman, who treated everyone she met as a friend and had an open mind to consider all that the universe had to offer.
Memorial services are scheduled for January 4, 2020, 12:30 pm., at Webbs Chapel UMC, 4640 Webbs Chapel Church Rd, Denver, NC 28037, with Pastor John Yeager offering words of Love and prayer. Condolences can be sent to the family care of Lance Orndorff, PO Box 205, Newton, NC 28658.
