A twisted fusion of heavy metal and horror, the film follows the black metal band Drown the Priest as they enter an abandoned quarry to shoot a music video—only to find themselves trapped with something far more sinister than their own dark ambitions.
Texas horror creator and entrepreneur Corey Trahan delivers a brutal new vision with The Black Quarry, a film he both wrote and directed. Trahan, the force behind multiple horror-themed parks across Texas, also drives the sound of Austin’s horror pop-punk band, The Immortalz, as its songwriter and producer. With a relentless career shaping dark, immersive worlds, Trahan is carving a path to claim the title of the next Master of Horror.
