Beijing, China Jul 28, 2023 (Issuewire.com) - The "Cream of the Cream" Excellent Film Support Program, organized by China London House (Beijing) International Cultural Communication Co., Ltd., will launch its 3rd call for entries on July 25, 2023. This call is open to filmmakers worldwide.
Selected outstanding films will not only have the opportunity to apply for five film festivals free of charge but also have the chance to:
- Secure overseas distribution
- Participate in international exchanges and master classes
- Receive financial rewards and scholarships
- Access screening opportunities and industry networking events, which will be applied to five film festivals by the company free of charge.
The "Cream of the Cream" Excellent Film Support Program was established with the aim of supporting low-budget films and young filmmakers within its capacity. Its main objectives are:
- Supporting outstanding films and filmmakers who are financially constrained
- Facilitating the entry of films and filmmakers into the international stage and overseas markets
- Providing more channels for filmmakers to voice and communicate their ideas
- Offering films more opportunities for exposure and longevity
- Allowing industry professionals to understand directors' works and artistic styles, and explore potential collaborations
- Facilitating rights sales and signing contracts with overseas talent agencies to further enhance the film's value.
For the 3rd edition of the "Cream of the Cream" Excellent Film Support Program，the submission requirements are as follows:
- No restrictions on theme or genre.
- Feature films should be over 60 minutes, and short films should be within 20 minutes (including opening and closing credits).
- Films completed after July 1, 2022.
- Films should not have been screened outside of China, including film festivals, theaters, online platforms, or television.
