New York City, New York Apr 1, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - The Cristina Fontanelli Foundation, Inc., founded by International Award-winning Opera singer/PBS-TV host, Cristina Fontanelli, has received a grant from the Investors Foundation.
“The Cristina Fontanelli Foundation is very grateful for the generosity of Investors Bank,” said Fontanelli. “Their vision and understanding of how crucial the arts are to our society and communities are being realized through their willingness to offer support through their financial assistance.” Fontanelli was honored to have been chosen in 2020 as one of Investors Bank’s keynote inspirational speakers and featured singer for their online annual Women’s Leadership Gala.
Fontanelli added, “It was a joy to perform the highly inspirational song selection ‘Rise Up’ at the gala. Fontanelli also took part in an additional 2020 Investors Bank online event "Theaters Together" produced by Dennis Budinich, Chief Culture Officer of Investors Bank. "It was an honor for my organization to have been featured alongside the prestigious and well-known Paper Mill Playhouse and the NJ Performing Arts Center. The online event “Theaters Together” helped raise funds for the participating theatrical organizations and helped raise awareness regarding the plight of non-profit, professional theaters as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.” Investors Bank has been serving customers in New York and New Jersey for more than 90 years.
This grant will help further The Cristina Fontanelli Foundation’s mission of producing family-friendly musical concerts across the spectrum of the media, including stage, screen, radio, and online productions. The Investors Foundation grant will be used to help defray the costs for The Great International Songbook, which will take place on Saturday, May 22nd, 2021 at St. Jean Baptiste Church in NYC.
