New York City, New York Aug 22, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Smithline Films & Ugly Productions have announced today that THE HUNTER’S ANTHOLOGY, a new mystery/thriller anthology series has completed its first season and will be available for streaming in the fall of 2020.
This five-episode, half-hour show stars newcomer Taylor August as Mac, a mysterious man who claims to be a demon hunter. After trapping six strangers in a New York City subway, he peeks into their souls discovering each of their five eerie, supernatural tales. It’s then up to Mac to solve the mystery and destroy the demon amongst them.

The first season also stars Eric Colton, Janna Bossier, Olev Aleksander, Kristy Cloetingh, Cole Taylor, and Sara Mari Lopez. “The Hunter’s Anthology” was created by Robert Smithline and Arezu “Nicky” Akmal. Production wrapped last year after filming on location in New York and New Jersey.

Arezu "Nicky" Akmal is an Active Member of The Producers Guild of America. She has produced and line produced over 30 films to date including MAKI and AUGUST THE FIRST which was selected in over 25 International Film Festivals and nominated for the IFP Gotham Awards. Akmal's other notable work includes HBO's A SHOT IN THE DARK, a documentary About Adrian Grenier's search for his father and THE UNDERSTUDY, starring Richard Kind, Assif Mandvi, Kelli Giddish and Marin Ireland.
